Casino Tips: Maintaining a Public Persona
Posted in General on 21. Nov, 2009
If you come to casino thinking or acting like a king and doing anything you want without regard to people around you, you are doing it all wrong. Acting like you own the world does feel like a lot of fun, but you are denying yourself from enjoying your time at the casino even more. You need to learn to maintain your public persona; just be that nice guy everybody loves and soon enough you will start enjoying casino perks and having more pleasant times playing casino games.
If you are playing in a table with dealers, be nice to them. I know they are there to serve you, but it doesn’t mean you can be rude to them. Talk to them nicely, give tips if you win something big, and stay nice even if you are losing. You will be surprised how a dealer’s recommendations can get you facilities from the casino.
You also need to be nice to other players. You are not the only one playing at the casino, and acting up or causing other people’s discomfort can really get you kicked out faster than you imagined. Besides, it would be very nice to make friends at the casino. You will be able to enjoy better experiences playing casino games with nice people around you.
A good rule of thumb is to treat others they way you wanted to be treated. It is actually very simple, but it will bring you more benefits than acting like a tough jerk everyone would hate.
